Seems Mitt is once again trying to have his cake and eat it too; it appears he's trying to be tolerant after his sharp far right wing turn during the presidential nomination process.
Bryan Fischer of the hate group American Family Association(hate group designation courtesy of the Southern Poverty Law Center) has admonished Romney on his appointment.
Richard Grenell is a former Bush administration official!
Claiming gays ONLY form short term relationships and are a security risk...reminds me of McCarthyism during the 1950's.....ROFL.......
I've got news for Fischer..... I'm in a 30 year plus gay relationship and speaking of security risks I assume he does not follow the news or he'd know all about the Secret Service's heterosexual security risk debacle.....these people crack me up.....keep the idiocy coming!!!!!!
I know all my right wings friends have been clamoring for my return......this has made me very happy!
Hope you ALL enjoy my latest thread!

This is just my opinion, but from everything I have read and heard, Romney is the most "Gay Friendly" of the Republicans running to be the candidate for president. Romney's big "opposition" to same-sex marriage was probably just a ploy to win over some of the hard core conservative base in the GOP during the primaries.
I do believe that one thing the Ron Paul supporters understand correctly is that Mitt Romney is really just "Obama Lite" ... but that is not necessarily a bad thing.
To give credit where credit is due, Romney - unlike some of those clowns like Bachmann, Perry and Santorum - is in touch with reality; and is recognizing that the LGBT community is emerging as a powerful and significant sector of the voting public.
How about electing someone because they're actually qualified, not because of their sexuality? Would have this received the same attention if this person were straight? No.
Is he qualified to do the job? If so, that is great and shows just how successful Romney is going to be as President. The fact that he is gay does NOT qualify him for anything. And I would hope you feel the same.
How sad that his sexual prefrence overshadows any accomplishments.
This is why the animosity persists.
That's the left for you.
