I'm not a fan of how those laws changed. How dare my wife say no to sex! And I'm sorry but mixed race marriage is a disgusting abomination. God separated the races for a reason.
That's incorrect. My great grandparents felt that way about homosexuality because they believed the (false) idea that homosexuality is fundamentally immoral, not because they believed homosexuals lacked the capability of informed consent.

Not true at all. Women were not allow to vote in this country until early in the 20th century. They never had that right taken away. It was simply never given to them in the first place.

When Bergen County defended their Blue Laws in Court, they did so on secular grounds. While I believe that to have been disingenuous, it was none the less how it was done.
there are many more secular reasons for banning to members of the same sex from marrying then the blue laws.
