Did it ever occur to you you're misguided? You still keep stating lies about gays, despite being adequately proven wrong by empirical evidence. Meaning, your desire to demonize gays far outweighs your rationality or objectivity.

Western State University College of Law.

UCLA is pretty good too.

You're going to spend $50,000 a year for a Tier 4 law school that's not even ranked?

Yes, UCLA is very good, it's ranked 15 in the country. Those 2 law schools are light years apart in terms of quality and job prospects.

For starters, you continue to claim being gay is a choice, despite all evidence proving you wrong. But you reject scientific evidence, in order to justify your lies and make yourself believe gay people chose to be the most hated minority on Earth.

The 14th Amendment is what prevents the government from making such laws, not the 1st.
The purpose of the 14th was t ensure that blacks and native Americans would be equal under the law. Everything else being equal, you could not choose to discriminate against people based solely upon their race.

There is an obvious difference between the marriage of two men , and the marriage of a man and a woman. Recognizing that difference is not discrimination, it's a recognition of biological science and anatomy, with a lot of common sense thrown in.

The problem here is that states just assumed people would understand what marriage was, and failed to define it properly. Not in their wildest dreams did the we think people would bastardize the definition of marriage.

This is sort of like if a state created a social welfare program for the unemployed, without clearly defining definition of unemployed, and lazy people who never had a job in their lives started taking advantage of the program.

Several Western State graduates who are gainfully employed in Orange County disagree with you.

Stealing harms people - namely the people who are stolen from. Being homosexual (an inherent condition) does not harm anybody. I find your analogy incredibly offensive.

But to use your analogy, do you believe anyone who has been convicted of theft should be banned from contracting a civil marriage and be denied the civil rights of civil marriage? Why ban gays from accessing the law, but not thieves (or adulterers, or atheists, or those who covet - hell, we even let murderers avail themselves to civil marriage law).

Why, because you think gay men are perverts?

Jews have the highest hate crimes per capita.
