Poll: Do you like black tea or green tea?
Response: Obama is trying to legislate what tea I can drink.

Poll: Do you prefer dogs or cats?
Response: Obama wants us to only have dogs - for food purposes.

Really? Is it so incredibly impossible to have a discussion of an apolitical topic without some obsessed person interjecting partisan politics? How sad.

Alas, I would think that there would be health concerns with the consumption of large amounts of human flesh - never mind the ethical dilemma with such a proposal.

I don't think that the intent is for "large amounts of human flesh" to be consumed. The idea is that the human meat would be stored for use as emergency rations - especially in areas where people are dying from malnutrition(e.g. Africa). Ideally, the human meat would not need to be used - but it's presence would help promote survival until better fare could be provided.

An interesting idea. Is it less ethical to allow for the consumption of human flesh or is it less ethical to let people starve? And can you, then, use the deceased to transform them into food?

Of course, that would assume that people would starve without meat consumption - which they don't.

You must be racist, because you made a bad comment against "the chosen one".

A guy who admits to eating dog would certainly not draw the line at a nice, fat, tasty human...
Whom do you know that eats dog? Ya, that's the same guy I was thinking of...!!

OK - but the question is not about preferences towards eating humans, but whether it should be done in a survival situation - and specifically should people be able to will their bodies for that purpose. Political humor is fine - but it is rather beside the point.

Why wait until the meal dies? Who wants to eat old flesh?
Younger people will have to be slaughtered for tasty meals. Just make sure you have some horseradish, garlic, and hot sauce. That should be enough for spices.
