You might as well give it up. Whenever someone post an atrocity committed in the name of modern day Islam, or worse yet, by a country who's legal system is based on Islamic law, all the liberals will ever do is whine "well, Christians did the same thing". Never mind that the worst Christian atrocities were a millenia ago. I'm an athiest but I find the hyprocasy and lack of willingness to condemn the current actions of these people, committed in the name of their silly superstition, disgusting.

Did some tennants of Nazism embrace Christianity? WHo cares? Their actions were vile, regardless. Much like some followers of modern day Islam.

Give it a rest......
Actually, the Nazi idea was to remove sects within Christianity and nationalize "Christianity". As far as paganism goes, a lot of it defines Christianity and long before Nazis came into play.

And all you saw was "Islam" is the only one with an issue?

Fortunately, you can't do that, or bring Tehran here. Blame us, the progressives.
What, are progressives banning gay activists from visiting Tehran? Or someone from contributing money if they would choose to do so?

This can't be true, Ahmadinejad said Iran has no gay people.

Again....laughable.

Typical reaction, when confronted with facts and logic, the irresistible urge to resort to name calling.

Stating that a majority of the Nazi leadership was homosexual is neither factual or logical - it's simply a lie. It shows how rabid your anti-gay hatred is and the depths to which you're will to sink in order to demean and malign gay people.

Nope. But this thread IS about Islam, or in particular the actions of a country based on Islamic law.

If you have particular actions done in the name of modern Christianity, you might, oh...start a thread about it! What an idea, not deflecting one about a different topic.

No, progressives are keeping y'all in check and leaving y'all to keep your celebratory mode to these forums.

Actually, it was in the fourth post that somehow labeled this an Islamic issue, when it is really an authoritarian issue. Heck, it ain't just Christian fundamentalists and Islamicists either, you helped complete the argument providing an atheist for a sample.

Well, if not for progressives getting in the way, Uganda couldn't be too far.
