Right, this is truly sloppy reporting. I smell a coverup. It shouldn't take them long to figure out what drugs are in the system of the dead zombie, plus what are we hearing from the man in the hospital? We need some real investigative journalism for a change to give us the facts.

Wow. Those of you suspecting some sort of sinister plot as to the attackers mental state has obviously never been to a Grateful Dead concert or seen Gary Busey lately.

"Ivory Wave," "Purple Wave," Vanilla Sky," and "Bliss" -- all are among the many street names of a so-called designer drug known as “bath salts,” which has sparked thousands of calls to poison centers across the U.S. over the last year.

First of all, what are bath salts?

"The presumption is that most bath salts are MDPV, or methylenedioxypyrovalerone, although newer pyrovalerone derivatives are being made by illegal street chemists. Nobody really knows, because there is no way to test for these substances," Horowitz says.

Why are they called bath salts?

"It’s confusing. Is this what we put in our bathtubs, like Epsom salts? No. But by marketing them as bath salts and labeling them 'not for human consumption,' they have been able to avoid them being specifically enumerated as illegal. Bath Salts Drugs: Problems, Ingredients, Dangers, and More

So you don't think that cannibalism is sinister enough?

Only on C-D can a story about a drug crazed "cannibal" devolve into a Religious scripture war and Police cover up of an accidental shooting of a homosexual couple.

I was referencing the fact that heavy drug use including LSD can caused deranged behavior. Thus you do not need some sinister plot to drug people or to shoot gays or whatever nefarious thing that posters here are alluding to.

I cannot fathom how you interpreted my reference to a sinister plot was in some way related to the end result of cannibalism.
