I mean we spend Billions and nothing gets done and we all know it is a joke and seems to be used against us from doing what is in our best interests or they use leverage with countries that want to make it hard for us to compete with other emerging countries

So How about taking the money saved by leaving the UN and splitting to in half for supporting jobs and economic growth and reducing the debt and taxes?

We can always arrange bi-lateral and multi-lateral talks between nations as required.

It is not as if we are withdrawing our ambassadors. We can leave the ambassador to the UN in place with observer status.

The West and any other interested democracies (India, Japan and South korea) and other like-minded states should leave the UN and form their own organization kind of like the post WW1 league of nations..

Hopefully, this time we'll get it right. Not a democracy, you can't join. Have a military revolt, out you go.

Want to join, make your reforms and prove you wish to be a democracy and we'll think about it. We need to assist like minded countries, ALL EFFORTS will be put forward, civil and military and every country has to commit to sharing all the those costs equally between all nations involved.

what do you think would it be a better idea i mean when the President of the U.N. Conference on Disarmament is North Korea.

Heck Canada has chosen to formally remove itself from The United Nation World Tourism Body (UNWTO) over the body’s latest choice of ambassadors.

With a lineup of questionable ambassadors ranging from Drew Barrymore to David Beckham.

But After it was reported last week, that Robert Mugabe, 88, “he has been honored as a “leader for tourism” by the UN World Tourism Organisation. it seems that the latest pick has pushed Canada over the edge.
