What modern "science" has done is proven that what science was claiming as fact was WRONG. So let's talk about The Nebraska Man, then sit down and have you try to convince me of the credibility of the religion of evolution.
I'm not sure what your point is, but, IMHO, the earth is just the correct circumference, just the right distance from the sun, it rotates at the right speed, the moon is just the right size to stabilize rotation, there were just the right amount of amino acids to spark life...you think this was an accident?

Actually, if you take organic compounds (usually containing nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon, etc.) and put them in a beaker and shoot them with a superheated spark (lightning), amino acids can form spontaneously. They can also spontaneously self-replicate, and apparently formed their own membranes at some point.
So yeah, even if it was an infinitesimally small chance, it happened and we are here today, and we can observe these things in a laboratory setting and can replicate them ourselves.
