Yes, I don't see the point of assassinating Arafat when he was aged and feeble. Not that I don't think Israel is completely capable of doing it, but I don't understand what their motivation would be at that point in time.
Israel has a fast reactor at Dimona to make the stuff and you need polonium to make nuclear weapons. Isreal has a really good intelligence agency called Mossad. So I would be shocked if they didn't pull this off and are not using it more often!

Could have been them or it could have been his own party rivals that wanted the old man OUT and also get hold of the billion or so he had stashed away.

I did read that the PLO guys that took over basically demanded the keys to the billion + fund arafat had socked away....on pain of death. They still left her enough to live very very well though.

Especially the raging anti-israel crew around here. Hey Israel does a lot of bad stuff but to focus on them only is laughable in that part of the world.

Arafat died from AIDS and he kept several "rent boys" on speed dial. I thought everyone knew that. It's also why the Palestinian Authority has always kept his medical records sealed because they didn't want the Palestinian street finding out their hero was gay and died from AIDS. Personally, I don't care if someone is gay and I think everyone should have equal rights including the right to marry but I do get tired of the BS where they try to hide what the media already knew.
