It's because, like the meme indicates, they lack the necessary intelligence to properly debate libertarianism. Strawmen cater to the lowest common denominator.
I would say that since you have offered nothing but name-calling, you are the one who lacks the intellectual acumen to debate the matter, not me.
Well, when you better understand libertarianism and realize it has absolutely zero to do with Somalia, we can continue this conversation. Thanks very much good sir.
Yes, it can.
People who want "limited government"
do not want "no government."
Why is that so hard to understand?
Oh? So it's limited government, not no government. Who decides where that line, that we should not cross, is drawn? By what standards? Or are you the final word in when the line is crossed?

I will take it to mean that you are incapable of actually defending your position and are just turning an running from the discussion.
Somalia has a government. So does Afghanistan. Both are rife with war and violence. The problem is that they don't have strong central governments to control power, and instead, it gets shifted to local unaccountable criminal enterprises. How do you explain the limited government of Somalia turning to hell? The limited Government of Afghanistan (prior to our Invasion) which was preceded with 30 years of war?
Those are limited Governments. That is Libertarianism. Point to one nation that has successful had Libertarianism. It's as pretty a thought as Communism an about as useful.
We don't get to where we are by ourselves, we depend on an infrastructure.
It's republican idiots that take one statement out of context and twist it to mean something he didn't say.
I think in the politically correct universities in America they teach history of the world this way so you actually believe that first the government built the infrastructure and only then people started commercial activity. You believe you are indebted to your government.
Every even slightly intelligent person knows that commercial activity started long before any insfrastructure and even any form of government came to existence. PC history. I think we are the country with the dumbest educated people in the world

Are Roads and Bridges the Root of the Capitalism Problem?
If governments did not build roads and bridges, would Capitalism exist?
