The guy lives in the most expensive part of Chicago, an area called "The Gold Coast".
There is a guy in Chicago who has the same name , same age, and tweets about the same concert, (yeah, 99.99% sure it's the same guy) who until recently had accounts on Picasaweb and google images, the account was closed a few hours ago. Apparently he's some rich jerk who was sent to a military boarding school and is now attending The Citadel . A lot good that did.
The Citadel will absolutely kick his arse out of the school for this if he does indeed attend that school. Military school might have been because he had *issues* and got booted from public school.
Glad the cops caught them and they didn't just melt away into a crowd.
Smart money says the guy was on more than just liquor to pull a stunt like that in front of his dates. Guys with personalities like that will hide it from the ladies....I'm a little in shock that the dates didn't turn on the guys (or maybe they did?).

Don't understand your translation. Lullapalooza is primarily attended by white people. Also the person who committed the act lives in The Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago, not many black people live there. He goes to the Citadel, not many black people go there. So your conspiracy regarding the "mexican vs AA confrontations" is more than likely just a figment of your imagination.
Regardless, I hope the guy does time for this. Odds are he won't since he is from a rich family no matter what his ethnicity is.

Even though it was a hugely d-bag move, people generally don't get time for those types of charges unless they have a lot of past offenses....and at his age those would probably be sealed.
Don't worry though. This will haunt him wayyyy more than any criminal penalty. He will be 35yo trying to date someone and they will google his name and......oooooops! Ditto for jobs and friends and you get the picture....
