Maddow is a cheerleader for Obama. If she did support it or not, she had the opportunity to say so. She was being asked about Obama's position and typical Obama behavior, she tried to deflect on giving an answer and putting the focus on Ryan.

It's no different than the ads they run by political commentators, including Maddow, supporting immigration. Immigration is not an issue. They deflect from the real issue which is illegal immigration. Americans are fine with those who migrate to the US legally, it's those that violate our laws and enter illegally that is an issue. Maybe someone should ask them if they support illegal immigration as firmly as they support legal immigration.

the liberals live with. "It depends on what the meaning of is, is"

The repubs want to change SS and Medicare so it IS viable today and into the future. The libs see this as "Killing "it.

We either change it, or it will kill itself.

Paul Ryan's plan completely turns medicare into a voucher system. You basically get a check to find a private plan. As costs continue to rise that will be useless. As of now it is predicted it will cost people $600 more

PolitiFact Ohio | Rep. Tim Ryan says Rep. Paul Ryan's Medicare proposal will cost patients $6,000 more a year
It is a shame you don't know that the vouchers will be indexed with inflation.

"Bush's corrupt War in Iraq," Are referring to the actions in Iraq that the Senate Majority Leader, Tom Daschele a DEMOCRAT, co -sponsored the bill giving the authorization for. And CONTINUALLY voted for funding to keep it going?

Do you mean THAT war?

That is the problem. Have medical costs stuck with inflation?

When government is involved prices rise. We see this in the cost of medicine and the cost of college. No price competition.

The cuts were from Medicare Advantage, which was found to be overpaying the insurance companies, not the traditional Medicare plans. It's still a far cry from turning Medicare into a voucher program.
