And, more to the point, which would get more coverage in L.A.: a dozen gang murders in South-Central, or a workplace shooting incident in Century City?
Both.
There was a random shooting on a freeway offramp in North Hollywood and that got coverage on the t.v. news this morning.
i find it interesting that our president went there to attend a wedding, but not to address the crime issue and citizens being murdered:

The youngest victim was a 16-year-old girl who died after she was shot three times in the chest Saturday evening in the Englewood neighborhood.
the government's main job is to protect the citizens, and it seems like they aren't doing their job at all in chicago.
people have a right to live in their neighborhoods in safety.
they should be marching in chicago.
maybe obama should have american troops defending american citizens in america.
As long as it's not in the upscale shopping/tourist areas then no one cares.
It will be reported, but nothing will be done to address the underlying problem causing all these shootings.
It's just Americans exercising their constitutional right to bear arms.
Back in the 20's the feds hit the streets and all but extinguised the gangs. I would bet there were substantially fewer killings on a daily basis than there are now in Chicago. That gun control really seems to be working there, doesn't it....
The Empire State building shooting is disturbing enough but, isn't this even more heinous?
Once again, I'm calling 2012, the summer of blood.
Because it's New York and it's the Empire State Building and that's where 9/11 happened.
Also, you are overdoing it with your title.

You don't know the context of the shootings. Way to be ignorant about a topic yet run your mouth. I'm not surprised.
