Homophobic would imply I'm somehow afraid of gay people, on the contrary, I just don't like them or their lifetyle, but I don't hate them, they have a right to live and do as they please.

.
So calling people names and thinking people hate you because they have a different opinion than yourself is not childish and paranoid? LOL you guys crack me up.

Default Not supporting gay marriage makes you a homophobe: agree or disagree

The facts are just because a person has a different belief or opinion than your self and just because they don't "support" your belief does not make them fear or hate and if you think it does then your paranoid and if you label them with one of your pet names your being childish.

Not necessarily.... some on here are not homophobic, they just don't support gay marriage

I get a little angry at the stupid argument about the so called sacred nature of marriage and how gays will somehow tarnish it..... how about more than half of heterosexual marriages ending in divorce and even higher rates of adultery..... isn't that disrespecting the "sanctity of marriage" even more?

It doesn't make you a homophobe but it does make you ignorant.

No, homophobic refers to more than just fear. Why do you people cling to literal Greek etymology? And there is no such thing as the "gay lifestyle". Heterosexuals do everything gays do in much much greater number.

Apparently Kim Kardashian's 72 day wedding, or Britney Spears' 55 hour wedding, or Rush Limbaugh's 4 marriages are all far more sacred than 2 women or men being together for 20+ years

Those are definitely shining examples of the sanctity of marriage...... Elizabeth Taylor I believe is another one

So if I said I don't like black people because of their thug/criminal lifestyle and lazy behavior that's not a problem?
