Uh, huh.
Only for sadists.

The Passion of Christ opened big here, but after 3 days, nobody who hadn't seen it wanted to go. People were walking out of the theater shocked and sobbing.

The thing those who saw it still talk about was seeing Christ's rib bones, sticking out after all the flesh had been flayed off of them by the whipping he took.

That's the problem with Mel Gibson movies. His message may be good, but it's always covered in too much savagery and explicit, too-realistic gore. That's why the studios cut out about 10 minutes of Braveheart- if Mel had gotten his way, we would have seen Wallace's guts pulled out and set on fire.

Speaking strictly from a monetary point of view, even a reverent movie about Mohammed, wouldn't make money simply because there aren't enough people in the target demo (Muslims) in this country to make it profitable.

Better off being made by Caliphate Productions and marketed over there.

It's illegal to distribute child porn, thus this movie will never be made.

They can just skip over that stuff or avoid it altogether like they do in movies about Moses.
