where did i say that we dont have a freedom of choice? in fact i DIDNT. i just said that the best and brightest wont subject themselves to the trashing the media will dish out, especially if the media doesnt like the candidate in question. for instance, i think that alan mulally would make a great president, but the media would trash him as being a rich out of touch evil business man, rather much like they are treating romney. and how many former mayors and governors wont seek higher office because of the very same thing? how many people do you know who have indicated that they might want to run for political office, but never do? i know many, and the reason they ALL state is that they dont want to be put under the media microscope.

But, will I have to do a write-in thingy? Or will his name appear on one of the buttons on the machine? How does it work exactly?

I'll be voting in Bergen County, NJ.
Or possibly Monmouth County, NJ
Practice by standing naked in front of a large box fan on high while drinking all the iced tea you can hold. Await the enevitable.

I'm not sayind it's exactly like a write-in vote but the result is the same.

It's a given that a "write in" candidate will NOT win. Your vote is wasted.
You are so right but some people will remain happy that they voted with principle and that is all that makes any difference in their lives.

I wanted to tell the OP that in 2008 I wanted to vote for Sarah Palin but had to vote for the old white haired man running with her. That is what I told the election judges, too.

It is clear to me, and should be to most American's that both and Obama and Romney will not be serving the best interests of the American People, but the Masters that own them.

Of course, you noticed how much more of Obama all those companies own than they own of Romney.

The 2012, 2016, and on so on presidents have been selected. The debates is just a show.

Why do you think Obama did bad on Wednesday night? Because he doesn't give a sh1t. He is the chosen one.

I don't care if he won't win, I want to vote for him as a big FU to the republican party, who keep picking RINOs. Ron Paul is the only real republican. I figure if a lot of us vote for him, there's a big chunk voted for him, then at least we'd send the message to the republicans to shape up

Ask for a hand written ballot, or ask the people at your polling place how you write in a candidate.

Should help you with any questions. Not every state lets you write in though. Not sure where you're registered, or what your state laws are.
