Sometimes though, they are wrong, since gaining new customers may cost them others (but that is their business). With the exception of supporting Nazi and terrorist organizations, I personally do not care what corporations stand for politically.
If Nordstrom really cared for their employees, they could increase the very low salaries they pay, which will be welcomed with enthusiasm by all employees, including gay ones.

I wonder how will this end up in a few years? Certainly, there will be people that want legal marriage between 1 woman and 2 men, or marry 1st cousins, brother/sister, etc....It seems more about a Liberal attack on the institution of marriage than anything else. Gays are just useful idiots that a being used by the Liberals.

Undoubtedly, there are some people who have always wanted those marriages legal. So? There is no reason that allowing same-sex marriage will lead to those things any more than allowing interracial marriage would lead to those things (obviously, it didn't).

And there are some of us who are confident that society won't collapse if a woman and two men are issued a civil marriage certificate.

As an aside, marriages between first cousins is legal without restrictions in 18 states and under certain circumstances in another 8 states. Your "Oh, no! This might result!" situation is already reality, and you're completely unaware of it. That should tell you something, but I suspect it doesn't.

PS - Same-sex marriage has been legal in Massachusetts for over eight years. Any evidence of a resulting push for polygamy or incestuous marriage there? You can just claim this or that will happen, but since same-sex marriage is already legal in six states and the District of Columbia, we actually have jurisdictions where we can see if these claims have any validity. Well?

What happens if a church says they don't perform gay marriages? Is it going to be like the Obama-care law that says churches must provide birth control pills? I think it will come to that and more despite reassurances from the Liberals/Gays they are not going to force their lifestyle on other people.

What's it like to live such a provincial, quaint little life with literally ZERO awareness of how the rest of the world outside your bubble lives?
It's great. I didn't realize Nordstom's was such a big deal to you. Must be heavily involved in your "bubble". lol

Then start a thread about it. This one is about some store named Nordstrom.

BTW, social conservatives should boycott fashion, anyway.

Not only do current fashions clash with hairsprayed up-dos (the higher the hair, the closer to God), but it's all run and designed by gays and their allies.

Except magic underwear. Magic underwear is still safe to buy and use.
I guess I'm not "hip" on the fashion world like you. Yawn.

Being that they just had a church that refused to marry an interracial couple in Mississippi a few months ago and no one did anything, I'm going to say no. Because its against the law

Then they don't perform same-sex marriages. Period.

Once again, you ask this question as if the situation has never occurred. Same-sex marriages are allowed in six states, and churches are not required to perform them. Some do, some don't. It is the Establishment Clause that guarantees the right of a church not to perform marriages which do not correspond to its tenets. Some churches will not perform interfaith marriages. That is their right. Some churches will not perform interracial marriages. That is their right.

You can claim anything you want. But the reality is that same-sex marriage is legal in six states, and the things you keep insisting will happen if same-sex marriage is legalized, in fact, have not happened where it has been legalized.
