There was nothing funny about what you said, there was no sense of sarcasm.

And you should know by now, I'm not a liberal.....

It would be nice if today's Democrats believed this.

Agree or disagree?

And kudos to Romney for giving 30% of his money to charity last year. Not too shabby. Meanwhile, Obama's own brother lives in squalor in the streets of Kenya, and Obama won't give him a dime.
Yep

That and or fascist. Liberals rarely donate to causes themselves, ad they are too cheap and consider that to be the job of the "government" , not them. Further, liberals are opposed to fee speech and individual rights and are more akin to fascists.

I'm probably considered to be a liberal but I'm against raising the sales tax and I would support a flat income tax.

Obviously, you can't pigeonhole people unless you want to be simple-minded about it.

It doesn't matter what today's Democrats believe any more. They have made their bed for the last four (actually six) years. And now they are going to have to lie in it... out of office, starting in January 2013.

Try learning the original definition before you come up with new ones.

Dictionaries are cheap, you should buy one.

I agree, but on the same hand, conservatives are very generous with borrowing money and giving it away as well.

wish they both would stop and go away.

The Republican Party is dying and only becoming the true lunatic party, even you're own party members see that the party is falling to crap. The Democratic Party is the party of the people, but it needs to remember that it can't take care of everyone as it tries to do. "Liberals" not necessarily democrats are generally wealthier than conservatives, so I can't see how any of you can speak on our beliefs on wealth. In fact the wealthiest people in this nation (Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Etc) all identify more with the democrats/liberals rather than conservatives. The wealthiest states (MD, NJ, CT, etc) in the nation are liberal grounds, so liberals don't believe that non-sense about working three jobs means your wealthy; instead we believe that if someone such as a single mother is working two or three jobs she deserves more of a break (in the forms of lower taxes, welfare, etc) rather than Bill Gates.

And don't speak on generosity with other people's money, when YOUR conservative politicians are asking for a additional $2 TRILLION to the Pentagon who hasn't even requested it, yet they want to cut education, social security, medicare, etc. And yes Romney has to mandatorily give the Mormon Church charity, if I'm not mistaken he was a pastor for a Mormon Church at one point so of course the amount of charity he gives is much higher in both percentage and actual cash opposed to most of us.

Liberals have stuck with their philosophy, conservatives are straying further and further away from theirs, so lets not play that game.
