I was a teenager during the height of the AIDS scare. Many of us were scared into using condoms even if the girl was on the pill. Some girls carried spare condoms in case the guy says he didn’t have any. Latex or nitrile type condoms with spermicide lubricant are effective at not only preventing pregnancies, but also at greatly reducing the chances of spreading STDs. Combine condoms with female birth control (pills and or devices) and you are as close to 100% effective at preventing pregnancies without giving up sex. Condoms are cheap. If you’re not worried about STDs there are some more natural condoms that are still effective at birth control but less effective at preventing the spread of STDs. Women have the power to demand the man use a condom or no sex for him. She can carry a few in her purse for “just in case”. The guy should have condoms available, especially if he’s getting ready for “some action”. I’d rather a condom to prevent than an abortion or having pills or injections for some STD or worse a life time of medication to survive having AIDS.
And men have the power to say no if they dont have a condom.
Why is it always on the woman?
You know what would be even more effective, if men started pushing for the male BC to be approved already and on the market.
All that said, I agree with your post. Some one said on another thread after seeing how so many people wear their covid masks they can now understand why there are so many unplanned pregnancies.
Here are some potential long term side effects of abortion. Why is abortion the only option ever presented? Because Planned Parenthood is out for profit! Make no mistake, PP isn't concerned with the health and welfare of the woman. Abortion doctors make millions. The abortion "industry" is one of the most thriving "industries" out there. Just look at what's going on in China. The abortion industry actually promotes abortion, abortion, abortion. It isn't a "rare" event anymore. That is just so sad. Do women really feel that abortion is the best option for them? And how about trying to ratchet down abortions in our country? Abortion will not be entirely eliminated any time soon but it's become more and more radical. Now we are promoting abortion all the way up to birth?
Potential Side Effects of Abortion:
PTSD
Increased risk of breast cancer
Anxiety and depression
Substance abuse
Potential infertility
Sexual dysfunction

There were 982,000 abortions in 2017, down from over a million in 2015, and 175,000 deaths from Covid-19 in 2020.
Most of those who died of C-19 this year, were 65+ years of age, and had already paid most of the taxes they were going to pay in their lifetimes. Most were drawing out of SS at the time they passed. Not a bad deal if you look at it from a government finances perspective. Plus, there's inheritance taxes to be made in some cases.
The 982,000 aborted lives, were all future taxpayers...if just payroll taxes. I'm betting Thousands of those aborted lives would have become high-income earners, and big tax payers for decades to come. Losing all of these lives were a bad deal economically.
Each life is a tax producing & consuming entity, depending upon where they are in their life-cycle, & how productive they are.
Killing off future tax payers, & potentially productive citizens, is pretty stupid if you ask me.
We should give huge tax deductions to foster parents who raise unwanted children so the kids grow up to be taxpayers, and stop aborting babies. Foster parents are grossly under-paid. I'd go so far as to pay prenant mothers to carry their unwanted babies to term.
Finland pays Russian women $10,000 to come to Finaland and have their babies, in hopes that they will stay, or put the baby for adoption so they will become future Finnish taxpayers. That is smart.
You forgot to calculate in the resources needed for these potential taxpayers. To hear some tell it, nearly 1/3 our people do not pay taxes, yet they too need things like roads, schools, water and sewer and medical care. Who pays their share?
98% of all abortions performed EVER have been/are birth control.
It's systematic, institutional, culturally proper mass murder for the sake of personal convenience. Has never been anything else, will never be anything else. Clinical execution of human beings in the name of avoiding the consequences of personal decisions.
No other way to describe it and still be intellectually honest.
That said, that is MY opinion, and as an anarchist, my opinion should never hold sway over what other people do when it doesn't directly affect me.
