I think Petraeus/Obama/Hillary/Rice is using this affair as an excuse for his resignation.
I'm not buying that it isn't connected to Libya response. Someone ****ed up,
not got ****ed, in the CIA and they know it. It's simply a distraction from the real truth,
what ever that may be.
Gen Petraeus is a great soldier. Met him several times during my career. I actually think a lot of him. He served his country very well, great American. Sad to see him go down like this. He'll be alright though, he will make more in the private sector than he ever made serving.

For you conspiracy theorist you have no clue. This man was real man, a man of honor. Something few of you know anything about.
He waited til now because he did not want to dishonor the Commander in Chief. Few of you know what sort of A political man this is. He was not about to speak out against the POTUS the man is a patriot and a hero. He believes so strongly in honor and integrity that he stepped down when he realized he had succumbed to conduct unbecoming.
Oh, goodness we going to have to find a good name for the latest crop of conservative crazies.
Truthers is already taken. Any suggestions?
Obama, why won't you release the real resignation?
