Gunman Adam Lanza carried his brother's ID, his mother's Guns (G-Lock, SIG, .223 caliber rifle) but he was wearing his own Black fatigues and military vests. Why his mother, kindergarten teacher, hold so much ammo???
Maybe his father left the weapons there after their divorce.
I bet I would, and it'd be pretty easy to thin the herd of gun nuts too, as I could just sit back and let you come at me. Be like playing Duck Hunt on the Potomac!
We don't - we just give our nutbars weapons of mass killing.
Put me in a room full of grade school children and I could use a 'mass killing' rock as my weapon of choice.
(They are easy to get and not so hard to register)
We seem to have a nutbar problem .. not a 'mass killing' weapon of choice?
A mentally ill person can't buy a stockpile of weapons.
Yes, they can. All they have to do is not share that they're mentally ill.
I watched a friend of mine in my early 20s amass a stockpile that included a 50cal, ak-47, ar-15, and many handguns, he had actually been institutionalized twice.
I guess so. I laughed when my kids tried to take an extra dessert at the dinner table tonight as well. Life moves on. I don't see any real sympathy on your side; just vitriol and politicizing a tragedy.
There's some truth to that, because I'm furious about this today, yet again. But as I lay here at the foot of my 5 year old's bed while he goes to sleep, I can promise you that my heart hurts about this as well.
No. The Constitution was designed from our founding fathers to be changable. Ever hear of an Amendment?
He'd have to get rid of half the members of Congress. Which he would turn to using violence and guns. How ironic and hypocritical. Anyway, it's his dream so let him have it.
