22 students injured in central China knife attack

ZHENGZHOU, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Twenty-two school children and a villager were injured in a knife attack at the gate of a primary school in central China's Henan Province Friday morning, according to local authorities.
Local police said they had seized the suspect, a 36-year-old villager named Min Yingjun.
The attack happened at around 7:40 a.m. at the entrance of Chenpeng Village Primary School in Wenshu Township of Guangshan County in the city of Xinyang, a police officer said on condition of anonymity.
China has a 1 in 100000 murder rate, and it has 5 times the population, America has a 4.5 in 100000 murder rate, so you should stop using China as an example, it make you look like your from Texass, Wait you are from Texass.
They also have swift punishment which often consists of a bullet to the head.
But that can't account for any of the difference. Nah.
How about..not even a ban....a case study that examines the psychological effects of what playing COD 20 hours a day...days on end..isolated in your house can do to a person.
I own guns and Call of Duty, but yet I haven't killed anyone or have wanted too.
So how do we stop this killing? What is the solution?
Status-quo is not getting us anything but more deaths!
Its not bad people killing at random.. but perfectly good people getting a moments fit and killing people.
We need some change.. something. anything...Otherwise we will have this argument forever while innocent blood is spilled on the streets!
You could start by realizing that it isn't guns that's the problem but people. "perfectly good people" do not go out and shoot up school yards. You, and people like you, fixate on the tool used rather than the person who did it. Did you cry to have trucks or fertilizer banned after the OKC bombing? Ban box cutters after 9/11? Why not? Because you know that it was the people who committed the act. And yet when a gun is involved people like you go completely blind and start raving about guns.
So what's your proposal to ensure that tragedies like today's slaughter of a dozen young children don't happen again?
Eliminate the human race.
As long as there have been humans, there has been senseless violence. What increases such actions in the US, as opposed to other nations (Switzerland, Israel) with higher gun ownership?
lack of religious beliefs
lack of respect for life
single parent families
no strong male role models
lack of familiarity and training with firearms (all of my kids have used guns since age 5- they know and respect the capabilities of weapons and would never dream of using a gun on a fellow human)
culture of violence with video games
culture of violence through Hollywood
Erosion of family values and respect for life causes such tragedies. I can say that EVERYONE when I was a kid had a .22 rifle and a shotgun. We never killed each other. It is not the weapons, it is what is inside the mind of the shooter.
The marxists are licking their chops, as all good totalitarians would, in order to capitalize upon a tragedy in a quest to gain more power. ALL TOTALITARIANS will, and have, attempted to limit gun ownership. Obama, being an enemy of liberty, will no doubt attempt to limit Constitutional rights, due to this tragedy.
You need to shut down the gun makers and then conviscate the guns one by one.
As long as they still make guns you can never get rid of them.
