Edward you're an intelligent man. Shouldn't you're information gathering be in the past tense rather than future tense before you make up your mind? just sayin....

Joe placed a lot of blame on Hollywood and video games making violent media. I take it you'll demand Obama stand up to them also even though they are large donators for Democrats.

I take it when Hollywood screams " the 1st amendment!" you'll tell them it takes a back seat to safety?

If Scarborough were the norm of today's GOP, they would be flying high in America.

Doubt it. I used to see Rather, Imus, and many others with significant stature walking NYC sidewalks during daytime hours before or after shows. Both would have had far more lucrative contracts (as this was the pre Rutgers comment era period for IMUS).

Friends of mine worked on one of his shows periodically, and I was often allowed entry into the newsroom area.

In addition, Scarborough gave a speech in Nashville colleagues attended, and it was just JS and Mika in attendence from the show. No security staffers, and the security that day was ordinary for the location of the event.

Was curious .... some famous pro gun control politicians like Ted Kennedy had armed guards.

TK was a pol from a family with a history of assassinations. JS, Imus, Rather are not pols. 2 of the last 4 years, Ct Senators have been on flights I was on, either to or from BWI. With no personal security.

Outsiide of Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift now, few country stars have security forces with them regularly.

Americans simply vastly overestimate the percentage of celebrities who do have 24/7 security.

Joe is a media ho now. Nothing he says surprises me. It is all about getting ratings.

Of course, a politician being a hypocrite is nothing new.
