I think pharmaceutical drugs are making people mentally ill. Seriously.
This country consumes more pharma drugs than any other in the world.
America is completely drugged up.

Get rid of the prescribed medications and sanity will return.

best,
toodie

Not to mention the drugs in the city water supply of major cities like NY where the water has already been consumed 15 to 20 times over by now. A lot of that stuff doesn't filter out of the water when reprocessed so more meds gets added to the cocktail.

Everyone knows about the issue and some politicians throw it a bone now and then, but the real agenda is disarmament. That is why they push for "gun control" whenever tragedies happen. Connecticut has one of the strictest forms of gun control, as do Mexico and Britain. Gun control does nothing to curb gun violence. That is the elephant in the room. Everyone talks about gun control, but nobody mentions the fact that it doesn't work any better than prohibition worked with liquor or the "war on drugs" is working with marijuana.

This is true. The public is being microdosed with pharmaceuticals. There isn't much anyone can do about it at this point.

Actually something can always be done. If enough people come together and focus their energy together to make a change, then a change WILL happen!

Until the utilities dept. cuts off the water and says' we're doing inspections to validate the claims and it might be months before the water is turned back on. Then everyone will shut up and accept the tainted water.

Default we need Lunatic Control, not Gun Control

Another mentally ill mass shooter goes on a rampage. The media turns these loons into celebrities and all the Obamacrats want to do is blame the NRA and make a government power-grab for law-abiding citzens' guns. When will this country wake-up and have a serious discussion about mental health and violence?

Shooting rampage was premeditated, police say.
Suspect had 1,300 rounds of ammunition during Santa Monica attack.

John Zawahri, the gunman, had mental problems in the past and was angry over his parents' divorce.

This is the salient reason why many countries have very stringent rules regarding firearms. They were very cognizant of the "ease of access" and "fit of temper" linkage.

Looking at the issue through the lens of freedoms, you have the U.S. entrenching the very definition of personal freedoms to the ownership of firearms whereas "other" countries have strenuousy resisted that perception. If the very definition of your freedom is tied so irrevocably to that of a weapon; how free are you really?

The U.S. is not the only country to be born out of throwing off the yoke of oppression via warfare with a "parent" country. It is however the only country that has perpetrated the ethic that maintenance of it's freedom is not through the morality and ethical choices of it's governance but rather as tenuous and temporary as any one of it's "indivdual's" rights as defined by a list of which the ownership of a firearm is at the very top.

It begs the question that if virtually every other one of those individual rights can be abrogated through the flexible definitions of the SCOTUS or through the misuse of government agencies as witnessed so often these last few weeks, WHY is the ownership of a firearm held to be so sacrosanct? Why not pick one of the others, with moral and ethical underpinnings, to hang your hat on?
