..after a bunch of people get killed by a gun.

This is the new mantra of the right wing, that somehow it's inappropriate to talk about gun control now. I can't think of a time when it's more appropriate.

Cue the idiot gun fetishists saying cars are the same as guns.

Really? Then why all of a sudden guns are on the tounges of every leftist person?

Why are guns not on the tongues when the innocent children die because they get caught in a cross fire of drugs being sold and bought....

Please, iniform us...

I'm pretty sure they are, of course not to the level that you see here.

Nice argumentation fallacy, though. I'm was waiting for the "cars kill" stupidity, instead I get this equally false premise. .

It's a media feeding frenzy rather than "talk".
Big difference there.

How is it a fallacy? Look at all the threads that have been created since last Firday over guns.....yet on the day to day basis, when children are killed, this board is silent....as many many media outlets....

Read and learn. You're saying that the argument for gun control is invalid because people don't post about it everytime someone is killed. Ridiculous, of course. Time for something new.

You can say this, however, when was the last time you have seen this much coverage, over a gun, other than when a mass shooting happens....which is going on right now....

Fake outrage is just that...if you truely believe in something you should be just as pasoniate all the time, not when a mass murder happens....when every child dies...

6 year olds aren't getting gunned down 20 per day. It's not fake outrage. Move on.

You're partially right. Some of the people who are talking about gun control are avid supporters of such things, and are willing to discuss the problems in an adult manner.

However, there are quite a few, especially on this board, that could give a rat's @@@ about gun control on a day to day basis, and merely jumped on the "ban all guns" bandwagon in order to tweak the noses of conservatives. Those people are, in fact, politicizing the tragedy.
