Its odd, we had no problem boycotting South Africa in the 80s. It seems that its OK with the US to trade with countries that abuse their populations, so long as they abuse them equally.

China is an absolutely awful place and I hate the thought of having any dealings with them. Unfortunately, it's absurd to even consider an embargo and even more so to expect it to have any effect. The only hope is that more contact with our country will eventually lead to a fruitful democracy there.
Some of us like to eat tables and are not obsessed with money.
