I wonder how many anti-gay Christians would appreciate getting a little 'love note' like this from a restaurant owner just after they had paid for their meal:
"In the Bible Jesus said he'd be back in HIS generation. He didn't return then and he isn't going to now or in the future. Your gullibility and ignorance has allowed you to be been sucked in by lies. Religious zealotry, bigotry and ignorance are harmful to yourself and others. So please, look at your life. See how it hurts everyone around you.
with love"
Well, that's exactly what you tell Christians here on daily bases. It does not bother me when I see people vent out like that.
Let me explain in a way you can understand. Let's say that the guy had reason to believe there was a bomb planted in their car outside - maybe he saw someone messing around with their car, and he thought maybe they planted a car bomb or something. Nutty, maybe, but he believes that to be the case so he warns them - he may be totally wrong, but that's what he believes so he warns them - what is wrong with that? They are fully within their rights to tell him he's full of it, and ignore him.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA da **** did you just write ????????
That analogy makes no sense and has nothing to do with the argument at hand.
not really - to a born again christian, they hate to see someone live a lifestyle that, in their mind, will land them in hell - which is worse than a car bomb. They feel it is as much an obligation to say something as if there was a car bomb - this is what you can't seem to understand - - you are too worried about "being offended" and the like - - you just don't get the mindset - I understand you don't agree with it, but that's beside the point.
No, it's the same scenario. Who wants to tell you anything when you blow a gasket when people try to help you?
you can't be this obtuse telling someone they have a flat tire, the gas cap is not on tight is far different than telling someone how they are living their life is "against god". one is helpful the other is none of your business how someone lives their personal life. again I can't believe you don't know the difference

RVAtoCNC explained it very clearly, but I don't think you are willing to understand it. This is turning into a "pearls to the swines" conversation.
The bible does not condemn interracial relationships. It does condemn homosexuality.
the bible condemns a lot of things, 99.99999999% of which people ignore and do not follow, so tell me why homosexuality is so far up there that it is the one Christians have to follow ???
