LOL You are just ranting and raving. BTW -- were you ever in the military?
Nope, I actually chose not to join, but my dad was in the Navy for over 30 years.
Actually anyone that is crying for secession is just ranting and raving cause they will never do it. It is easy to talk a big game on the internet, but when it comes time for real action you guys just sit on your hands hoping someone else will do it for you.

Why the hell do you keep on with this?
Who is calling for secession?. You can't win the point at hand, so you go for the ad-absurdum. I don't blame you. If I was getting slaughted like you are, I would too...

Sorry, I thought we were in a thread called a "civil war is brewing." Is that suppose to mean something else cause the last time we had a civil war it was about secession.
The last time a senator from Illinois asked the US army to fire upon treasonous Americans, US army responded by saying "between the eyes or between the balls"
Those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it.
Sure, lets take that one. Who was the U.S. Senator? Not that I don't know what/who you are referring to, but I want to hear you say the name and ascribe the quote.

Diversion, again? I am not interested in what some others say on the topic. I am talking to you.

Go for it!
Google search shows that a quote similar to that was said by a villain to Arnold Schwarzenegger...
This has been the cry of right-wingers for decades. There's always a civil war, a race war, a culture war, etc., just around the corner. I think they just love the idea of war altogether.
when the North takes Atlanta again, can a few Braves be sent to my Mets? We need talent.

My apologies. In my last post, I meant to include a question to you. That is, why did the North invade the South to begin with? Was it to free the slaves? Oh lord...
Whatever, what wrong had the South ever done the North?
Was there something "unconstitutional" about soveriegn states peacefully withdrawing from a Union they had voluntarily joined to begin with? Did the essence of the Declaration of Independence (largely written by Southern men) mean nothing at all? That is that "government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed.." no longer mean anything?
So again, why did the Northern states use force to coerce the Southern states to remain in a Union they no longer wanted to be part of? Why was it any different -- other than that the winners write the history -- from that the British Colonies rebelled against the Crown?
In fact, far as that goes, the Southern states did "rebel" at all. They simply announced their seperation from the northern states. They had no plans at all to invade the north. On the contrary, the CSA simply wanted to go their own way in peace, and even offered to negotiate a economic/defensive alliance, as well as open the Mississippi River up for free trade and navigation, with the united states (i.e. northern states who kept the name only by default).
Anyway, time to hit the sack. We can rejoin later. Have a good evening...
Lets see how many posts we can get before someone with no intention of actually discussing the thread disrupts it with oh my look at the source....
The source is a bias cesspool of conservative garbage. With that said only an idiot would believe a civil war is brewing. I seriously would like to hear less talking and more action...

You gotta be brave to play for the Mets. NY has to be the toughest town in baseball to play in. Even A-Rod who is born in NY can't take that kind of heat.
