All constitutional rights have limitations, and the Second Amendment is no exception.
Actually, those types of guns were around 50 years ago.

The first AR-15s were sold to the public in 1964, over 50 years ago.

Semi-automatic handguns? Seriously? You do know that probably the most famous semi-automatic handgun is the Colt 1911, don't you? Do you think the 1911 part of the name stands for a random model number? It stands for the year it was adopted by the Army.

Please, try to get your facts straight before you start spouting off about the history of firearms.

See my previous post to understand why you both need to get your facts straight, as well.

This just demonstrates your ignorance about firearms ...

This pistol is the basic design of most modern semi-automatic pistols:

It's called the 1911 because that was the year it was invented. Now, over 100 years old, which is a bit longer than 50.

This automatic assault rifle:

Is 70 years old, and was used by the Germans in WW II

This Gun is called the Gatling Gun after it's inventor, Doctor Richard Gatling.

This weapon was capable of firing 200 Rounds Per Minute, and is now 150+ years old, having been invented in 1861.

A new question:

Why does the social security death index list Adam Lanza's date of death as: December 13th, 2012? That would be the day before the shooting.

GenealogyBank did not get that information for Social Security. I guarantee S.S. doesn't work that fast.

I believe you considering how slowly the government works. Weird that they would have that info on their website though.
