Obama will remain President. Accept it or remain delusional and bitter for the next 4 years.

I'm not a fan of Obama and his policies for sure, but there isn't a chance in hell that he will be impeached. No matter how hard of a line he decides to push with the gun ban/restrictions. Take a look around the country, the majority has spoken and this is what they wanted.

War crimes, torture, warrantless wiretaps, kidnapping and rendition of US citizens. To be fair, Obama could be impeached for the same things.

Impeachment proceedings should be left for extremely important national issues, like lying under oath about an affair with an intern.

Clinton was Impeached.

Being impeached is no bad thing, just means a bunch of people from the other party have enough control to submit an impeachment.

Doesn't mean he will be kicked out of office. . .I find that near impossible.

Yep.

(They must have gotten to the bottom of the barrel if they're pulling Edwin Meese out of it.)

He could also be impeached for selling the Dakotas to Canada, but just like with guns, he has not committed impeachable acts yet.

It isn't up to the SCOTUS to decide if a public official needs to have articles of impeachment brought against a person, this is up to the House of Representatives and it goes to the Senate for trial. Any public official can face impeachment if it is deemed needed. The Constitution (article II section 4) spells it out as to why and how it will be carried out, the SCOTUS isn't mentioned in these proceedings.

As far as Obama goes in this, one has to figure out what he has done to bring about impeachment proceedings. The Constitution says, the conviction of Treason, Bribery or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors. The key word here is "conviction" and as long as Obama plays the "I didn't know what was happening in my administration" card then he'll will skate free and allow other to take the heat for him. Unfortunately incompetence isn't a high crime or misdemeanor, if it was allot of Presidents would have been impeached.
