The reason why the left wing media is losing respect and viewer/readership is because people recognize that they are nothing but partisan mouthpieces for the Democratic Party.

Do something to end the idealogical bias - and then get back to me.
There are so many problems with the argument you just made.

First off, lets talk about your first paragraph. Your entire first paragraph is based on an assumption you have yet to prove. Do you have any examples of the Left wing media attacking a republican and then the allegations not being true, and please dont say Mitt Romney.

second, the Left wing media, contrary to your belief, has not been losing respect or viewership, in fact, MSNBC beat FOX News for the entire month of November. Sites like Think Progress, Mother Jones, DU, The Nation have all actually had an uptake in readership.

Third, Liberal media, unlike Fox, drudge, and Rush Limbaugh, does not pretend to be "fair and balanced". The major liberal networks and sites regularly state that they believe in the values of the Democratic party., just as sites like Red State proudly state their conservative values.

When did it become wrong to state that you were for one side and not the other ? Are you saying these sits should lie about their values just to please you ? Or are you just pissed that they arent conservative sites ????

If you want non mediated arguments from both sides where the host says " the right says this, the left says this, YOU decide who is right", i suggest you watch the mid day shows on CNN

Long story short, before you go attacking Liberals, you should take your own advice and talk to conservatives sites and tell them to stop being so bias, or are you so blind that you dont see them as bias ?

We could probably blame MSM for the ruination of a politician's career:
Quote:
Chandra Ann Levy (April 14, 1977 – c. May 1, 2001) was an American intern at the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington, D.C., who disappeared in May 2001. She was presumed murdered after her skeletal remains were found in Rock Creek Park in May 2002. The case attracted attention from the American news media for years.

The investigation led to media allegations of an affair with married, and then-U.S. Representative, Gary Condit, a five-term Democrat representing California's 18th congressional district and a senior member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Condit was never named a suspect by police and was eventually cleared of involvement. However, the cloud of suspicion raised by the intense media focus on the missing intern and the later revelation of the affair led to his loss in his 2002 re-election campaign.
Quote:
Gary Adrian Condit (born April 21, 1948) is a former politician and member of the Democratic Party who served in the House of Representatives from 1989 to 2003. Condit originally represented 15th District, and then later California's 18th congressional district after redistricting following the 1990 census).

Condit gained significant national attention for an extramarital affair with intern Chandra Levy, which was exposed after Levy's disappearance in May 2001. Condit was not candid and forthcoming with investigators about his relationship with Levy, bringing him considerable negative attention and speculation that he was somehow involved in her murder. The following year, he lost in the 2002 Democratic primary. Condit was later exonerated and found to have no involvement in Levy's death.

From US News:

Quote:
Grabowski argues major elements are missing from this story to make it stick. First off, Menendez is divorced. There is no scorned wife or visible victim, because neither of the women in the report live in the United States. They want to remain anonymous, so they won't be appearing at televised news conferences in the states anytime soon.

"You need a visible victim who is suffering," Grabowski says. "This might raise eyebrows, but stories like this don't last more than a few days."

And the only sources who have confirmed The Daily Caller's story are the two women who, when shown a picture of Menendez, confirmed that was the man who had solicited sex from them.

"It has not been corroborated," Grabowski says. "These kinds of stories pop up, and they are timed for the obvious reasons of trying to defeat a candidate in the days before an election. In this case, that is doubtful."

Also, Menendez, even if he did solicit prostitutes, did not break the law. Prostitution is legal in the Dominican Republic.

RM has demonstrated poor judgement prior to this latest news so it makes him suspect.

No matter what his level of guilt or innocence, RM's zombified electorate will re-elect him time after time. Reid, Pelosi, Jackson Lee, Barney Frank, etc screw up Dems with life time employment. Look to the electorate to discover the source of the problem.

People are missing the point. Menendez is accused of using UNDERAGE prostitutes.

If he'd gone to a third world country where prostitution is legal and paid for sex with adults, it would sleazy but not criminal. The age of the prostitutes he used - and used is the correct verb - makes it a criminal investigation.

This is what I expect of liberal Democrats. Blah, blah, blah about how Democrats protect the poor but then take advantage of an impoverished prostitute in a third world country.

Menendez was on ABC News this morning and not one question on this investigation. Does anyone seriously believe that would have been case if Menendez were a Republican.

Show me a liberal and I'll show you a hypocrite.

These are allegations of an investigation based on allegations of having sex with minors.

reread that first sentence of mine again.

There is no proof there is even an investigation much less proof he actually had sex with under aged prostitutes.

You are making an argument based on something you cant prove. That is moronic.

the only source that there is even an investigation is a couple of emails that no one can even prove are real.

It amazes me how you can go on a holier than thou rant based on allegations that are based on allegations.

Now is he guilty? I don't know but the media shouldn't try and cover over things like this.

As I point out above, it would still be illegal for a Senator to engage in such actions.

Ask GOP senator Vitter (LA). He admitted patronizing a call girl while in office.

He's still in office. Sure, Republicans police there own.

As to Democratic criticism of the sex foibles of their own, you probably are not familiar with the criticism of Jesse Jackson, Jr. by female, black aldermen in Chicago. They gave worse than his wife did.

Folks should just avoid blanket statements.
