In most cases yes...... most girls have a pimp and drugs are used as a form of coercion. I don't think legalizing prostitution would take care of anything. Sex slaves work for free, they don't have a say about the money at all or what happens to them. Evil men will always want what is most evil and they will still have the slaves.
It would mean that prostitutes would have rights which other workers have, and thus prostitution would become safer. There would be no more room for minors or illegal immigrants. Thus trafficking would rapidly decrease. I take it you never took economics?
