It doesn't change the fact that these people are the exception, not the rule.
Correct. They're the exception who dared to WORK for what they have, instead of the irresponsible and under-performing who complain about what others worked to have.
The point that the majority of people miss is that:
If, starting today, everyone were to go to college, work their ass of, and graduate with a legitimate degree there certainly would not be enough high-paying jobs for everyone.
Everyone can't own their own business.
Our economic system is set up so that a certain (large) percentage of people will work at unskilled jobs (regardless of their actual skill level).
Anyone can work their way up and improve their life, but not everyone can.
So, it's absolutely senseless to demonize the poor, since, the majority of people have to be poor.
Simple minds aside, why aren't the low wagers bettering themselves? $23 per hour is not bad money for the majority of American's. You should ask around sometime.

They are the exception who worked hard, took risks, and were lucky.
For every one of them, there are literally millions of others who worked hard, but were afraid to take a risk, and hundreds of thousands of others who worked hard, took risks, and weren't lucky.
They're 97-99% effective. And abstinence or creative sexual contact excluding intercourse is an option available to all.
Bearing a child one cannot afford to support and raise is NO ONE'S fault but the parents'. It's an irresponsible act, plain and simple. Irresponsibility has hardship consequences. Hard fact of life.

Yes, they're 97-99% effective.
And the odds are still better that contraceptives will fail, than the odds that a child of poverty will grow up to become wealthy.
You're the one screaming about statistics. You don't like it when the statistics show you're wrong. Hard fact of life, ain't it?
Superior parenting? The majority had to do it ON THEIR OWN, as the data clearly shows.
Imagining they had superior parenting is a bizarre pipe dream you've projected to assuage your own guilt for not making more of your life.
You're a college-educated burger flipper with a bad credit rating, no?
Yes my credit 'rating' sucks because I had an abrupt total loss of income and was unable to work for a year, before returning to work (a different job in a different area) at minimum wage.
My credit 'rating' (or score) has nothing to do with anything that I have done in the past ten years. So how relevant is it today?

Nice personal attack. But no matter, the mods will not delete anything nasty said by a conservative.
Your link shows no source. For all we know, they could have made it all up. However. . .

Most of us have never felt at a disadvantage because we did not receive any inheritance.
Says nothing. In any event, people do not usually inherit anything until both parents die, which can put some people close to retirement themselves before they inherit.
