Nonsense. Of course that restaurant owner in SC did something "wrong" - if you count being very rude to paying clients as being 'wrong'. But it wasn't against any anti-discrimination laws. He was also a another hypocrite who doesn't know the Bible and who didn't harrass them until AFTER they had paid.

But that's ok, we have state and federal laws to force people to go against their religious views and if they don't they face stiff penalties and fines.

Why is that wrong ? From what I read he said he didn't demean them or call them names, just that he didn't do same sex marriages. So just go somewhere else to get that cake. Not like he's the only one in town baking cakes.

Or just get a cake and put your own same sex silhouettes on the cake.

There are many ways around this yet....
But you would be screaming blue murder if a Christian couple was told "No, we don't bake cakes for Christians"

No. Not at all.

ROFL
Since when is being "redneck outlaw bikers" a protected class like race, religion, gender etc?

It's not for man to make judgement. Man has to answer for his actions when he reaches those pearly gates.

I doubt he'd file claims or threaten lawsuit or go to the press all pouting that he didn't get what he wanted and that it "wasn't fair".
Far more likely he would have happily baked a cake for the couple then turned to the baker and said " "You hypocrite! You blind fool!" like he did to the Pharisees.

He would have told the couple to repent, and go and sin no more.

It's ridiculous, and this baker has every right and reason to decline service. One doesn't need to share his religious views to feel that "gay" marriage is an offensive and insulting concept that scoffs at our most fundamental of sensibilities.

Someday soon people will collectively demand the freedom to think once again....and we will look back in disbelief at the time wasted on this kind of baloney.
You have the 'freedom to think". Your post shows you just choose not to.

If he gets a fine, it won't be for his "religious beliefs". He will be fined because he broke the law in that State.
