Why did you post it on the black history month thread
You have one life. A **** life is no life. Someone makes your life ****, well **** it then and kill him.
Very immature, savage way of looking at things.
Choosing to take someone else's life changes nothing and it never will. Doing so almost always makes things worse.
I'm wasting my time. You are interested only in bloodlust and fantasy revenge while refusing to mull the actuality of the things you propose. Like I said, immature and savage.

The savage thing was ruining your life. You don't always have to kill someone to ruin his life but killing someone ensures you won in the end. This is the way the world works. Just look in the thread we're in. Mr Dorner killed some cops and the cops killed him. In the end we're all dead men.
Fortunately for me, when it went down in 1981, the internet had not been invented so my record, mugshot and all that were not out there for all to see when they google my name. So it did not totally ruin my life. I was ablr to get out after 2 years, go to college (which you cannot do anymore if you have a drug conviction) and get a half decent job that I could not get if it happened now. In fact, you would be hard pressed to get ANY job today even with just an arrest because your mug shot and arrest record are on the internet for all to see. So in effect, your life is ruined. Even if you were not guilty. Even if the cops knew you did nothing.
I completely agree with you. I think the internet and the way convicts are treated in this country makes such a mess of things. I have never believed a mistake should forever alter one's life. Everyone deserves a second chance. As far as marijuana is concerned, it's bull**** that it is even illegal at this point.
I think you bring up very valid points and concerns.
As a convicted felon he should shoot the arresting officer or the convicting judge. They robbed him of a way to make a future livelihood.
No. Correction. They TRIED to rob me. They failed. In fact it had the opposite effect. I guess they thought I would lay around in prison and watch TV all day or play cards for cigarettes like many prisoners do. But when I went into prison, I had no high school diploma and when I came out I did. When I went in, my reading was at a 6th grade level and I could not write or comprehend anything. When I came out I could. So they lost that fight. I have a job and a college degree. I am not rich but I have managed to make a living.

But the better question would be why did you (a non-Black person) even feel compelled to dishonor the intent of the Black History thread (which I created) by posting about Chris Dorner in a thread that is about honor, sacrifice and striving for greatness against the odds?

I'm not that pessimistic.
As I said, I was in the system as well at one point in my life. I brought it on myself by doing something stupid, wrong, unethical, unlawful and immoral. I am happy that I had a wake up call. If I didn't get lucky and ended up killing someone it would have only been my fault that my life was ruined. However, I didn't hurt anyone, didn't kill anyone. I chose to straighten myself out and I have. It was my hand that brought bad to my life and it was my hand that brought good.
We may all be dead in the end, but what about the intervening years between birth and that last gasp of breath? I choose light, love, responsibility, charity. What do you choose?
