This is what I have found on page 39 and it really doesn't say what you are saying.
"Prevalence Among Men
More than 1 in 4 men in the United States (28.5%) has experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner at some point in their lifetime. Most of the violence reported by men was physical violence; only 2.1% reported experiencing stalking by an intimate partner (Table 4.2). An estimated 1 in 20 men in the United States (5.0% or about 5.7 million) reported experiencing rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in the 12 months prior to taking the survey.
About 1 in 10 men in the United States (9.9% or an estimated 11.2 million) has experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner and reported at least one measured impact related to these or other forms of violent behavior in that relationship."
Just subtracting 2.1 from 28.5% doesn't give the full picture at what it means. Also the next paragraph says 9.9%.

Exactly, 1 in 10 men experienced rape, physical violence and/or stalking AND reported one measured impact related to these or other forms etc etc.
So then it is 10% of that 26%, so it is a small fraction than what you are suggesting or it is 10% leaving 16% to mean something else?
It's not 10% of the 26%, it's 10% of males. The report says that 26% of males are victims of domestic violence. 1 in 10 males report it. Therefore, 38% of males (10%/26%) that experience domestic violence report it.
Do you have anything else you'd like to try to attack about this study?

Never was attacking you to begin with, I wanted you to clear up what you were saying. So thank you for that, it makes more sense. And in case you were wondering domestic violence towards men and women is wrong.
I wonder the same thing, it seems that just because the Democrats are pushing bills for women against domestic violence somehow means that it can't be done for men too? Maybe the OP should call his Congressman to tell them how important this issue is to him, especially seeing he lives in a Blue State that would actually care about an issue like this.
The Violence Against Women Act includes male victims. It's a poorly name Act.
“The reality is that the vast majority of victims of domestic violence are women and children, and most outreach organizations take those demographics into consideration when providing services . . . The bottom line is – violence is violence no matter what gender the victim. Because of that, the Violence Against Women Act applies to all victims of domestic violence, irrespective of their gender. Nothing in the act denies services, programs, funding or assistance to male victims of violence.”
Lionel Ritchie's ex-wife whooped his ass when she found him in bed with a white woman.
She was charged with spousal abuse. Serious sh*t man.
