The only two great Presidents since the turn of the 20th century were Ronald Reagan and Calvin Coolidge.

Bill Clinton was, is, and always will be nothing more than Arkansas trailer trash.

On April 12, 1999, Wright found Clinton in contempt of court for "intentionally false" testimony in Jones v. Clinton, fined him $90,000, and referred the case to the Arkansas Supreme Court's Committee on Professional Conduct, as Clinton still possessed a law license in Arkansas.[1]
The Arkansas Supreme Court suspended Clinton's Arkansas law license in April 2000. On January 19, 2001, Clinton agreed to a five-year suspension and a $25,000 fine in order to avoid disbarment and to end the investigation of Independent Counsel Robert Ray (Starr's successor). On October 1, 2001, Clinton's U.S. Supreme Court law license was suspended, with 40 days to contest his disbarment. On November 9, 2001, the last day for Clinton to contest the disbarment, he opted to resign from the Supreme Court Bar, surrendering his license, rather than facing penalties related to disbarment.
In the end, Independent Counsel Ray said:
"The Independent Counsel’s judgment that sufficient evidence existed to prosecute President Clinton was confirmed by President Clinton’s admissions and by evidence showing that he engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice."

Corporate America has, of course, benefited enormously from those trade deals, largely at the expense of the US working and middle classes.

The GOP overwhelmingly supported those deals in the House and Senate, and is the primary reason those trade bills passed. The Democrats on the House vigorously opposed both, and there was enough opposition to make the vote veto-proof had enough GOP reps joined them.

Most GOP voters I know rue NAFTA and 'jobs going to China', yet inexplicably fail to hold their party to account for its role, which was primary.
Did you have trouble reading the first sentence in my post? My point was that you can't pin the blame entirely on the GOP or Corporate America since a Democratic president was in power who signed it into law. Not only did he sign it, he actively fought for it.

I would hardly qualify that as great.
I fully concur. And, he allowed our rocket staging technology to be sold to the Chinese (He got a $300,000.00 donation for his reelection fund btw) which they have used to get their space program going. He pandered to the left, went center for elections, and disgraced the office. Oh, and let's not even start about dodging the draft.

There's no way the French could have stopped us, they can't win wars.
The Louisiana Purchase was a ripoff.

The last great President was George Washington, and I have doubts about him too.
You are sorely wrong. Read some History then add some intelligent comments.

As a lifelong Democrat, I agree completely. Bill Clinton embarrassed the nation with his behavior. It was inexcusable. Having said that, what about George Bush's behavior with regard to the Iraq war? Taking a nation into an unnecessary, unjustifiable war which killed 4,000+ American soldiers, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, and cost trillions of dollars isn't just embarrassing. It's criminal, and he and Cheney still defend it in some bizarre, twisted manor. Both should have been impeached and tried, as should any President, Democrat or Republican, who starts a war in such a manner.

Should Congress have been tried and impeached with them?
