So someone attacks someone and it is the governments fault.

If that were true we wouldn't have piles and piles of easily debunked anti-gun research studies used to promote an anti-self defense agenda by people like you who swallow them hook line and sinker.

Says you. I have not seen "piles of piles" of debunked studies.

You've posted a few of them in this very thread. The anti-self defense klan will do or say anything to push their rabid agenda and you are no different.

"Female murder victims were almost 6 times more likely than male murder victims to have been killed by an intimate."

And this is not a "research" study. This is homicide data from the Bureau of Justice.

Show me where any of the studies I have posted have been debunked.

If you want to say that data from the FBI, and Bureau of Justice Statistics have been debunked, show me. Because that's the most reliable data out there, where law enforcement, legislators, and policy makers get their data.

All the more reason for women to take their own self defense seriously and arm themselves.

I guess Democrats want women to just wait around until a man can save them or something stupid like that.

That doesn't make sense. Have you not read the last several pages on this thread? The presence of a gun in the home is more likely to be a danger to a woman. Maybe in fantasy land she can dive for the gun and get to it before her angry husband, but in reality, that apparently doesn't happen.

Or go to this interactive graph of all the gun homicides since Newtown. Click on the little figures indicating female victims. See how many were killed by a boyfriend or husband. Even if it was a murder suicide which somehow doesn't "count" in your eyes, the woman still had her life taken, sometimes along with her children. On average nearly 3 women a day are killed by an intimate partner (1027 in total for the year 2011 - not always with a gun).
