You're suggesting that if Bush had a nearly all white cabinet the black community wouldn't be highly critical of it?
ROFL....... what planet are you on?
Again, prove it.
Like I said, you're just mad because we won't whine when you say that we have to, which only proves the normal hubris of conservative whites. We're supposed to jump when you say jump.
It's 2013 dude...it ain't happening.
When we have a problem, you'll know. Til then, don't waste your time trying to force the issue. You don't want those black nominees anyway. You ain't fooling anyone.
So says the CBC. Obama is the racist. Must be his mothers side.
“Congressional Black Caucus offices have had numerous phone calls from constituents questioning why none of the new appointees will be able to speak to the unique needs of African Americans,†Fudge continued. “Their ire is compounded by the overwhelming support you’ve received from the African American community. As you continue choosing your critical advisors, we want to stress the importance of ensuring every community has a seat at the table. The absence of diverse voices leads to policies and programs that adversely impact African Americans.â€Attorney General Eric Holder, appointed in Obama’s first term, remains the Obama administration’s only black Cabinet-level appointee. According to a Politics365 analysis released last week, that’s the fewest by any president over the last 38 years.
Earlier this year, the White House faced scrutiny over an alleged lack of diversity among Obama’s inner circle. Those questions have intensified with Obama’s senior-most Cabinet nominations, including former Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) for Defense secretary, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) for secretary of State and Chief of Staff Jack Lew for Treasury secretary.
I don't think we conservatives should be promoting the whole racism thing. I know you're doing it to get back at liberals, but in my opinion it just plays into their games.
If Bush had a cabinet that was nearly all white your position is that the black community would not be highly critical of that? Yes or no?
Some would be. Most wouldn't know and therefore wouldn't give a damn. And thats just speculation. I don't know, which means that you don't either.
Besides, what does it matter? Every president up to now over the last 25 years has had a diverse cabinet, so why are you complaining and trying to make an issue where none exists just for the opportunity to race bait?
Do the black people who DO complain about this ever stop to think that maybe the people he has appointed are more qualified than the black candidates that were up for the position? Bet it never even dawned on them because they think he should do what they did, elect/nominate/appoint them because they are black, and for no other reason other than that.
If the white guy is better suited for the position, HE should have the job. If the black guy is more suited for the position, HE should have the job. It's as simple as that. Same for men vs. women. Diversity for diversities sake has no place in Government.
If the white guy is better suited for the position, HE should have the job. If the black guy is more suited for the position, HE should have the job. It's as simple as that.
I'd agree but if the black guy does it then it's acceptable, if the white guy does it then it's racism.
