There is a difference in the meaning of the word "theory" in scientific terms vs. "theory" as "something that cannot be proven." The "theory" of evolution is just as observable as any other scientific theory (such as that the moon causes the tides, for example). That is why Creationism, as explained by ANY religion, doesn't belong in non-religious schools.
species change over time. but one species cannot evolve into another species. that has never been proven. by anyone. ever. so don't lie to children. saying evolution is a fact is like saying the sky is blue is a fact. well it depends on the context and condition.
There is nothing wrong with teaching evolution as a theory, along with creation as a theory. Neither should be taught as proven fact, because both are unproveable.
The theory of Evolution is always taught in science class, just like the "theory of gravity."
Creationism also belongs in the classroom.... when studying comparative world religion, along side the creation stories of a dozen other religions and cultures.
Evolution is biological history, mutation, and statistics.
"Evolution" is unproven and therefore it remains a theory, and a ridiculous one at that! It shouldn't be taught as fact. It should have scant mention, and should be presented only as a theory.
It has become a tool of the left which is used to ridicule and discredit Christianity and Judaism for the single purpose of promoting atheism.
