YAY!!!! You found something logical that needs to be addressed. BUT, just because there are no BG checks at shows does NOT mean that anyone doesn't want them, there is just no law stating they have to. Make the one law that states ANY sale of a firearm must go through the checks and if you bypass them you will sit in jail for a decade or more. STILL, only law abiding people will do this, criminals will get theirs off the streets. When was the last time someone set out to shoot up a school and decided not to because they couldn't obtain their weapons legally? Adam Lanza anyone???? Bueller??? Bueller?????

Why are you afraid of a BG check?

Back ground checks are not done?

What about the 300,000 - 500,000 guns that are stolen yearly?

What part of "background checks are already conducted" do you not understand?

Address this so I know that you are truly informed on the subject rather than a left wing wacko who will believe whatever lie the liberal media feeds you.

Unfortunately, current federal law requires criminal background checks only for guns sold through licensed firearm dealers, which account for just 60% of all gun sales in the United States. A loophole in the law allows individuals not “engaged in the business” of selling firearms to sell guns without a license—and without processing any paperwork. That means that two out of every five guns sold in the United States change hands without a background check.
Gun Show Loophole - Coalition to Stop Gun Violence

I have no problem with AR's, concealed carry, and people owning firearms in general, so long as its done safely. That's all.

Not that I think neocons are any better nor are they conservative but the left is about as illogical and retarded as it gets when it comes to just about anything requiring the least bit of common sense.

The problem with your little "common sense gun regulations" is that they don't solve anything. The guns are already out there and unless you confiscate them they're not going anywhere and anybody is going to be able to get their hands on one. The other problem is that the vast majority of murders in this country isn't at the hands of Joe from the gun show but inner city gangbangers and if the whole point of the right to bear arms is to protect you from tyranny which is exactly what we are beginning to see, you don't want the tyrants having that information. And you're a fool if you think the government is our friend. Clearly they are not and it's something I've learned over the past few years myself.

Oh please dont give them another strawman argument to attack. Next they will be demanding fingerprint firing triggers on every gun, or even call for banning guns all together now.. Ooh wait, they are already doing that.
