I NEVER understood why pot has had such a fanatical opposition to it all these years. So much wailing and gnashing of teeth at the mere mention of legalization, yet more harmful substances and all, seem to be accepted much more freely
Apparently it was 5 years ago. If I dwelt on what anonymous dorks like myself wrote on a message board five years ago, then I am in desperate need of a life. This is just entertainment, what we write here, really isn't that important.
Might be in desperate need for a life if after 5 years you're still so concerned about the topic.
Liberals tend to be more moralistic when it comes to things like truancy, underage drinking, song lyrics, tv and movie content, obesity, etc. while conservatives tend to be more moralistic when it comes to homosexuality, sex outside marriage, contraception, abortion, etc.
No, I don't get it. You've created a red herring and false narrative and then argued against it. Please stay on topic. Why is smoking cigarettes bad, but smoking pot good? They're both carcinogenic, both stink like crazy and both are terrible for your body. Yet Neo Progs everywhere are advocating for recreational pot smoking and at the same time advocating against cigs.
Wrong, marijuana is not carcinogenic, in fact it may help with some kind of cancers. Tobacco and pot are totally different substances.
Being stoned is NOT as bad as being drunk or high off pills. I think that's what you meant.
Well, you know, that depends on what country you're in. In some countries getting stoned is not a good thing.
