The law. Not everything is liberal/conservative issue. Trust me, many (if not most) conservatives will do anything to keep pot illegal, and many (if not most) liberals will do anything to make it legal.

We're in favor of people being allowed to have sex as they wish, use drugs as they wish, lead their lives as they wish, without being encroached upon by the rich and powerful, who are being permitted by right wingnuts to steal freely, engage in corruption freely, and do any damned thing they want to people.
