In make assorted other clothing from head to toe male and female patterns as i need them. My wife and i are also living history re-enactors and Buck Skinners.
I work a lot of media, wood metals silver too, glass beads on items, shell beads on others i do stone knapping anything from 10,000 years ago to 1840. make knives of files made a few flintlocks from shop scraps making the barrels myself from solid round stock, cutting locks from brass and steel, cutting the wood off a plank no kit.
I just research who I want to portray and then build what ever that person might have. Mostly hang in French and Indian War thru the American Fur Trade. I have been hunting 55 years now.
I use the kill parts in the same ways you know, the old ways where nothing is wasted. I use deer hooves bones sinew the hide the brains to tan the hide etc etc you know all that stuff, you just don't know I know
