This is a deeply ingrained cultural and ideological war. The fight over this issue will never be over EVEN if a SCOTUS rules against every state and federal gun restriction that might be passed. It will come up again when SCOTUS is heavily Socialist.

Have you seen the video of the father who lost a son also?

Why wasn't he invited by Obama? Doesn't the life of his son count?

Some repubs voted for, some against. I am FOR the debate so the many lies that have been told can be rebutted.

The REAL statistics will be revealed.

NO law should be passed on emotion. Let clearer heads prevail.

"I don't think anyone is coming to "take my guns'. Get up to speed. Some lawmakers have introduce bills to do exactly that. Others have voiced that they would LIKE to and we should confiscate guns.

I am leaving this thread, but I want all you Fox news/Rush radio followers, to continue your delusional "gossip" session in this thread.

Like many liberals, I want the "Fox/Rush herd" to get even more stupid and insane, so please keep posting in this thread.

Thank you,
Chad.
"I am leaving this thread," Thank God. Now the adults can have a discussion.

Unless you're able to protect your "Right to Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness" against violent criminals FULL STOP, you actually have nothing but an illusion.

Since the rise of the Sons of Liberty in 1765, a personal firearm has been the best, most effective weapon to SELF protection when faced with thuggery, of any stripe, and if one doesn't understand the historical ramifications of disarmament, you don't deserve U.S. Citizenship, nor will you be able to sustain ANY rights.

I have a perfect right to give up any and all constitutional rights, including the 2nd amendment right. You don't think I have that right? I guess my citizenship should be denied because of this? Do you seriously think you can FORCE people to own a gun? Good luck with that one.

Plus, do I have the right to bar any "legal gun owner" to set foot in my home with their guns? Your rights end where mine begin.

Well, I never turn down free food, but hey you have that right...

P.S. They're not constitutional rights, but an American would know that

Yes, but he's busy shilling for the NRA and telling everyone that his son would still be alive if only the little one had been packing.

The strongest group yet to speak are just getting geared up.

Moms’ Gun Control Ad Cites Dangers of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ - ABC News

“I’m hoping…our legislators see that we are very, very serious about this. That we are in this for the long haul and that there will be a political price to pay if legislators don’t pay attention to moms pleas for change, for new and stronger gun laws,” Watt said.

“Moms aren’t going away on gun issues.”
