people carved images to worship because they were afraid of dark, afraid of a solar eclipse and afraid of all superstitions. people still worship much for the same reasons. god created us to worship him? what an ego.
having a pastor that's liberal helps to balance out the fire and brimstone crap
That's impossible....all of you are immune to the truth. It happens when folks are sure they're gonna rise up from their grave, meet a ghost floating on a cloud, fly off on gossimer wings to live in eternal bliss while those who believe something else burn eternally in a lake of fire. Christianity is the most arrogant, egotistical and rediculous religion of the more than 4000 ways to worship an ancient god which exist today.
I go to real museums of natural history and the like.
Did I offend you? You seem upset.
I will be visiting the California Science Center next month, and have taken and passed a natural history class.
I still own and often read the book that was part of the Natural History class,, which was written by a professor who taught at my college, and was the instructor a few years before I enrolled in the course.
You are making an erroneous assumption and have yet to answer my above question.
Only loony liberals evolutions think that dinosaurs were ever ridden by humans.
You really are a lunatic if you believe such a ridiculous notion.
You call other people lunatics, yet you think the earth is between 5 and 15,000 years old and that dinosaurs were 'created' at the same time as humans?

Of course not. I think everyone should visit museums.
Good - then we agree.
One of my future ambitions is to be a curator of a historical museum.
