this is the 3rd amnesty. its not in our best interest and never has been.
its a giant green flag to illegal immigration to come on over and take your cut in line. illegal immigration is draining our welfare system esp medical. it is government supplemented and sponsored law breaking.
we pay illegal aliens to go to college (dream act) when american kids are turned down or cant afford to go.
We need amnesty for all immigrants to show the international community that we accept all cultures. When global governance comes we want to be the ones leading it.
Yep we accept all cultures even when they break our laws. To answer your question OP, it's the right thing for the Democratic party, in other words, more people on the dole hence more democrats.

I hope that is a joke, because otherwise it is just wishy-washy, pie in the sky balderdash.
[quote=Smoke_Jaguar4;29313038]If you're an upper-class American, you get a hard working, low wage, and compliant work force without all those pesky labor laws.
If you're middle class, you get goods and services at a reasonable cost (for example, produce)
I'm not too sure about that comment. We middles class folk still get stuck paying taxes to support the illegals. I'm not convinced that the savings in labor costs is realized by the consumer, more like bigeer profits "sucked up" by the business owners (capitalists).
All the more reason to restrict immigration as it negatively affects the lower and middle classes as well.
(this also applies to the EU, which is my point of reference)
