It is a little more than 6 people.

"Statistics New Zealand currently doesn't readily record the sexual orientation of people in New Zealand, meaning there are very limited statistics on New Zealand's LGBT population. However, at the 2006 Census, there were a recorded 12,300 people living in a same-sex couple in New Zealand - 5,300 male and 7,000 female."

The concept has sway. The idea of a man and a woman being committed to one another is just about universal on the planet. However uncivil they might be in other politics and ideology that construct of a man and a woman being together is understood universally. Men and men and women and women are also understood to have attraction for one another. It is expected that such attraction will be discreet. Now some may disagree, but I am going to observe that it has been illegal for over 200 years to treat black people differently than white people. How well have legislators succeeded in making people who don't want to do that, comply with the LAW?? When same sex marriage is legal in all 50 states, what exactly will that mean? Sure, gays can go and marry... legally. I suspect gay newlyweds in Arkansas might not drive through town with tin cans rattling behind their 'getaway car' for quite awhile yet. Certainly not within my lifetime...

Every time I think all is lost and I will have to spend the rest of my days in a nations governed by Democrats, they attack all that is dear to everyday Americans instead of working with business to create an economic environment that fosters prosperity.

Thank you liberal Democrats for once again writing your own political obituary.

See you in 2014!

If this madness continues, I'm going to enroll in a law school, and reap some of the profits!

If you think these countries are decent because of their dog "marriages" defend their antisemitic behavior.
fact is gay "marriage" supporters are usually bigots.
