I didn't say that, there are tons of Democrats out there who have no interest in work, unionized or not.

That's how I found it at my NON-unionized workplaces as well. For instance, in putting out parts, if the quota was 100, and if I really got in gear and put out 200, my pay was still the same.

But you still would have gotten the job had it not been a unionized shop, correct?

I think most conservatives realize that unions have their place. They can help in certain industries at certain times.

What most sane, non-liberal American have problems with are PUBLIC UNIONS.

Obviously having unionized government workers "negotiating" with politicians for raises and benefits taken from the public's taxes, which then go directly back into said politician's re-election accounts creates titanic opportunity for graft and corruption, and you see the results in places like California.

FDR, who was certainly no Republican, warned against public unions back when we had a saner country.

And I'd love to have the ability to work in a discount clothing store and believe that I'm God's gift to politics while taking community college classes one at a time... but sadly I live the real world where truth still hurts.

Very few people are apart of that club, but understand the vast overwhelming majority of conservative voters are not conservative because of conservative economic policy, or because conservatism favors business owners, so most conservative voters merely tolerate that part of conservative ideology.
