We have banned tornadoes in Alaska. However, the volcanoes and the earthquakes have increased. So it is a win/lose scenario. A volcano would look awfully silly in Oklahoma.

If I'm expected to pay for a regular occurrence and safety features to mitigate both death and destruction, the people who CHOOSE to live in that area should be required to take some responsibility for themselves.
